UCONN Huskies vs UCF Knights Wrap - UCF Wins 56-21
Gabriel Davis caught 5 passes for 119 yards against the UCONN defense as UCF handed the Huskies a 56-21 loss on Saturday at Bright House Networks Stadium.
The Knights won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -42.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Adrian Killins Jr. rushed for 77 yards, while Bentavious Thompson added 71 yards in the win. Gabriel Davis and Jacob Harris added 119 and 74 receiving yards respectively.
Kevin Mensah rushed for 123 yards for UCONN, while Steven Krajewski added 26 yards. Steven Krajewski threw for 273 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Cameron Ross and Ardell Brown had 91 and 55 yards respectively.
UCONN lost the offensive yardage battle to UCF 607-426 yards in Saturday's game. UCF had more first downs as that total ended up 27-24.
The time of possession battle favored UCONN as their offense was on the field for 38:09, longer than the 21:51 of their opponents.
UCF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Cincinnati. UCONN will aim to get back on the winning track vs. South Florida.
