Wisconsin Defeats Kent State 48-0 - Recap

Wisconsin got a 186-yard performance from Jonathan Taylor as a key part of its 48-0 victory over the Golden Flashes on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.

The Badgers were a -35.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 58.5.

Jonathan Taylor rushed for 186 yards, while Nakia Watson added 63 yards in the win. Kendric Pryor and Jonathan Taylor added 33 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Joachim Bangda rushed for 32 yards for Kent State, while Jo-el Shaw added 20 yards. Dustin Crum threw for 28 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Raymond James and Antwan Dixon had 28 and 14 yards respectively.

Kent State lost the offensive yardage battle to Wisconsin 520-124 yards in Saturday's game. Wisconsin had more first downs as that total ended up 29-10.

The time of possession battle favored Wisconsin as their offense was on the field for 40:26, longer than the 19:34 of their opponents.

Wisconsin looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Michigan State. Kent State will aim to get back on the winning track at Akron.
