UCONN Falls 49-7 to Green Wave - Recap
The battle between the Green Wave and Huskies didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as UCONN was handed a 49-7 defeat on Saturday at Yulman Stadium.
The Green Wave were a -33.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 57.5.
Corey Dauphine rushed for 87 yards, while Ygenio Booker added 49 yards in the win. Darnell Mooney and Tyrek Presley added 77 and 55 receiving yards respectively.
Kevin Mensah rushed for 41 yards for UCONN, while Art Thompkins added 32 yards. Jack Zergiotis threw for 33 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Jayce Medlock and Art Thompkins had 42 and 28 yards respectively.
UCONN lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulane 634-234 yards in Saturday's game. Tulane had more first downs as that total ended up 31-14.
Tulane lost the time of possession battle 30:49-29:11, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Tulane takes its act on the road to face Memphis looking for another win. For UCONN, they head home to face Houston.
