USC Defeats Arizona 41-14 - Recap

USC got a 103-yard performance from Kenan Christon as a key part of its 41-14 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Bettors who backed the Trojans were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -10.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 69.0.

Kenan Christon rushed for 103 yards, while Markese Stepp added 66 yards in the win. Tyler Vaughns and Michael Pittman Jr. added 73 and 69 receiving yards respectively.

J.J. Taylor rushed for 80 yards for Arizona, while Nathan Tilford added 61 yards. Grant Gunnell threw for 196 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Brian Casteel and Jamarye Joiner had 101 and 28 yards respectively.

Arizona lost the offensive yardage battle to USC 448-385 yards in Saturday's game. Arizona had more first downs as that total ended up 22-16.

The time of possession battle favored Arizona as their offense was on the field for 30:02, longer than the 29:58 of their opponents.

Next game, USC takes its act on the road to face Colorado looking for another win. For Arizona, they head on the road to face Stanford.
