Bobcats vs Jaguars Final: 30-28 - Recap
Tyler Vitt threw for 373 yards to lead the Bobcats over South Alabama 30-28 on Saturday in Week 11 action at Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium.
Texas State did not, however, defeat the Jaguars against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 41.5.
Tyler Vitt completed 23 of 33 pass attempts for 373 yards for the Bobcats in the win.
Tra Minter rushed for 87 yards for South Alabama, while Carlos Davis added 63 yards. Desmond Trotter threw for 164 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Kawaan Baker and Tre'Veon Hamilton had 34 and 33 yards respectively.
South Alabama lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas State 415-348 yards in Saturday's game. Texas State had more first downs as that total ended up 21-20.
Texas State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Troy. South Alabama will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Louisiana-Lafayette.
