NC State Falls 28-26 to Yellow Jackets - Recap
Jordan Mason ran for 141 yards as Georgia Tech handled NC State by a score of 28-26 on Thursday at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field.
Georgia Tech won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 46.5.
Jordan Mason rushed for 141 yards, while James Graham added 112 yards in the win. Malachi Carter and Ahmarean Brown added 74 and 28 receiving yards respectively.
Zonovan Knight rushed for 100 yards for NC State, while Jordan Houston added 89 yards. Devin Leary threw for 227 yards for the Wolfpack, while receivers Tabari Hines and Devin Carter had 88 and 46 yards respectively.
Georgia Tech lost the offensive yardage battle to NC State 457-395 yards in Thursday's game. NC State had more first downs as that total ended up 27-19.
NC State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:41-25:19 split in that important category.
Georgia Tech looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Georgia. NC State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. North Carolina.
