Aztecs Fall 14-11 Against Hawaii - Game Recap
The Rainbow Warriors grabbed a Week 13 victory over the Aztecs on Saturday, winning 14-11 at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium.
Hawaii won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 46.5.
Chevan Cordeiro rushed for 59 yards, while Miles Reed added 53 yards in the win. Jason-Matthew Sharsh and Jared Smart added 95 and 82 receiving yards respectively.
Chase Jasmin rushed for 37 yards for San Diego State, while Juwan Washington added 24 yards. Ryan Agnew threw for 229 yards for the Aztecs, while receivers Kobe Smith and Parker Houston had 74 and 47 yards respectively.
San Diego State lost the offensive yardage battle to Hawaii 347-318 yards in Saturday's game. Hawaii had more first downs as that total ended up 24-21.
San Diego State lost the time of possession battle 33:52-26:08, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Hawaii looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Army. San Diego State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Brigham Young.
