UCF Defeats Tulane 34-31 - Recap

Dillon Gabriel was good for 317 yards through the air on Saturday as the Knights got past the Green Wave by a score of 34-31 at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium.

The Knights won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -7.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Darriel Mack Jr. completed 1 of 1 pass attempts for 2 yards for the Knights in the win.

Justin McMillan rushed for 102 yards for Tulane, while Corey Dauphine added 58 yards. Justin McMillan threw for 181 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Jalen McCleskey and Darnell Mooney had 77 and 43 yards respectively.

Tulane lost the offensive yardage battle to UCF 484-402 yards in Saturday's game. UCF had more first downs as that total ended up 23-21.

UCF lost the time of possession battle 30:45-28:49, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

UCF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against South Florida. Tulane will aim to get back on the winning track at Southern Methodist.
