Recap - Midshipmen Defeat Kansas State 20-17

Malcolm Perry scampered through the Kansas State defense for 213 yards as Navy handed the Wildcats a 20-17 defeat on Tuesday at Liberty Bowl Memorial.

The Midshipmen were a -1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 52.5.

Malcolm Perry rushed for 213 yards, while CJ Williams added 34 yards in the win. Chance Warren and Keoni-Kordell Makekau added 41 and 27 receiving yards respectively.

James Gilbert rushed for 39 yards for Kansas State, while Jordon Brown added 13 yards. Skylar Thompson threw for 124 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Wykeen Gill and Malik Knowles had 57 and 47 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Navy 421-170 yards in Tuesday's game. Navy had more first downs as that total ended up 19-10.

Kansas State lost the time of possession battle 36:31-23:29, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
