Cowboys Down Tulsa 16-7 - Match Report

The Cowboys were Week 3 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Golden Hurricane by a score of 16-7 at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Deneric Prince rushed for 82 yards for Tulsa, while T.K. Wilkerson added 22 yards. Zach Smith threw for 166 yards for the Golden Hurricane, while receivers Josh Johnson and Keylon Stokes had 63 and 55 yards respectively.

Oklahoma State lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulsa 278-277 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma State had more first downs as that total ended up 18-15.

Tulsa lost the time of possession battle 30:33-29:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Oklahoma State heads into a Week 4 battle against West Virginia. Tulsa, meanwhile, will have their next action against Arkansas State.
