Kansas State Falls 45-0 to Cyclones - Recap

Iowa State got a 135-yard performance from Breece Hall as a key part of its 45-0 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium.

Iowa State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -13.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 47.5.

Breece Hall rushed for 135 yards, while Brock Purdy added 59 yards in the win. Xavier Hutchinson and Joe Scates added 111 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Deuce Vaughn rushed for 44 yards for Kansas State, while Harry Trotter added 28 yards. Will Howard threw for 32 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Chabastin Taylor and Phillip Brooks had 37 and 22 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Iowa State 539-149 yards in Saturday's game. Iowa State had more first downs as that total ended up 26-9.

Iowa State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:55-23:05 split in that important category.

Next game, Iowa State takes its act on the road to face Texas looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head on the road to face Baylor.
