Michigan Wolverines vs Rutgers Scarlet Knights Recap - Wolverines Win 48-42

The Scarlet Knights had no answer for Hassan Haskins on Saturday as the Wolverines rolled to a 48-42 win at SHI Stadium.

Michigan won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -11.5-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 52.0.

Hassan Haskins rushed for 109 yards, while Zach Charbonnet added 27 yards in the win. Cornelius Johnson and Giles Jackson added 87 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Isaih Pacheco rushed for 43 yards for Rutgers, while Kay'Ron Adams added 24 yards. Noah Vedral threw for 381 yards for the Scarlet Knights, while receivers Shameen Jones and Bo Melton had 127 and 109 yards respectively.

Rutgers lost the offensive yardage battle to Michigan 495-486 yards in Saturday's game. Michigan had more first downs as that total ended up 29-24.

The time of possession battle favored Michigan as their offense was on the field for 45:47, longer than the 29:13 of their opponents.

Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Penn State. Rutgers will aim to get back on the winning track at Purdue.
