Fresno State Bulldogs vs Utah State Aggies Wrap - Fresno State Wins 35-16
Jake Haener threw for 422 yards to lead the Bulldogs over Utah State 35-16 on Saturday in Week 11 action at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
The Bulldogs were a -10.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 51.5.
Jake Haener completed 29 of 38 pass attempts for 422 yards for the Bulldogs in the win.
Jaylen Warren rushed for 136 yards for Utah State, while Devonta'e Henry-Cole added 73 yards. Jason Shelley threw for 144 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Deven Thompkins and Jaylen Warren had 92 and 27 yards respectively.
Utah State lost the offensive yardage battle to Fresno State 541-343 yards in Saturday's game. Fresno State had more first downs as that total ended up 25-12.
Utah State lost the time of possession battle 33:49-26:11, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Fresno State takes its act home to face San Jose State looking for another win. For Utah State, they head on the road to face Wyoming.
