Recap - Ragin' Cajuns Defeat South Alabama 38-10

Louisiana-Lafayette cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 38-10 score against South Alabama in Week 11 action at Cajun Field.

Louisiana-Lafayette was a favorite by -14.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 53.5.

Chris Smith rushed for 99 yards, while Trey Ragas added 78 yards in the win. Neal Johnson and Peter LeBlanc added 40 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

Terrion Avery rushed for 62 yards for South Alabama, while John Tank Miller added 24 yards. Desmond Trotter threw for 133 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Jalen Tolbert and Kawaan Baker had 64 and 43 yards respectively.

South Alabama lost the offensive yardage battle to Louisiana-Lafayette 506-268 yards in Saturday's game. Louisiana-Lafayette had more first downs as that total ended up 23-19.

Louisiana-Lafayette lost the time of possession battle 31:47-28:13, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Louisiana-Lafayette takes its act home to face Central Arkansas looking for another win. For South Alabama, they head home to face Georgia State.
