Recap - Badgers Defeat Minnesota 20-17
Garrett Groshek tore up the turf for 154 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Badgers to a 20-17 win over the Golden Gophers at Camp Randall Stadium.
Wisconsin did not, however, defeat the Golden Gophers against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 47.0.
Garrett Groshek rushed for 154 yards, while Graham Mertz added 9 yards in the win. Jack Dunn and Jake Ferguson added 76 and 35 receiving yards respectively.
Mohamed Ibrahim rushed for 151 yards for Minnesota, while Cam Wiley added 5 yards. Tanner Morgan threw for 160 yards for the Golden Gophers, while receivers Daniel Jackson and Chris Autman-Bell had 67 and 33 yards respectively.
Minnesota lost the time of possession battle 30:28-29:32, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
