Arkansas Defeats Arkansas-Pine Bluff 45-3 - Recap
The battle between the Razorbacks and Golden Lions didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Arkansas-Pine Bluff was handed a 45-3 defeat on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium.
Arkansas did not, however, defeat the Golden Lions against the spread, which closed at -51.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 59.5.
Dominique Johnson rushed for 91 yards, while Treylon Burks added 56 yards in the win. Treylon Burks and De'Vion Warren added 89 and 51 receiving yards respectively.
Kierre Crossley rushed for 39 yards for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, while Skyler Perry added 27 yards. Xzavier Vaughn threw for 5 yards for the Golden Lions, while receivers Daemon Dawkins and Dalyn Hill had 49 and 32 yards respectively.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff lost the offensive yardage battle to Arkansas 504-223 yards in Saturday's game. Arkansas had more first downs as that total ended up 25-13.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:18-23:42 split in that important category.
