Hawaii Rainbow Warriors vs UNLV Rebels Recap - Rebels Win 27-13

Charles Williams tore up the turf for 266 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Rebels to a 27-13 win over the Rainbow Warriors at Allegiant Stadium.

The Rebels were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 55.5.

Charles Williams rushed for 266 yards, while Chad Magyar added 18 yards in the win. Kyle Williams and Steve Jenkins added 73 and 67 receiving yards respectively.

Dae Dae Hunter rushed for 43 yards for Hawaii, while Chevan Cordeiro added 15 yards. Chevan Cordeiro threw for 183 yards for the Rainbow Warriors, while receivers Nick Mardner and Calvin Turner Jr. had 139 and 31 yards respectively.

Hawaii was outgained by UNLV 465-240 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-10 by the Rebels.

The time of possession battle favored UNLV as their offense was on the field for 39:38, longer than the 20:22 of their opponents.

Next game, UNLV takes its act home to face San Diego State looking for another win. For Hawaii, they head home to face Colorado State.
