Charlotte Falls 55-7 to Wildcats - Recap

Charlotte couldn't hang with the Wildcats on Saturday as Kansas State blasted the 49ers 55-7 in Week 2 action at Snyder Family Stadium.

Kansas State was the ATS victor, as they covered the -34.0-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 55.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Alex Barnes rushed for 99 yards, while Jesse Ertz added 76 yards in the win. Isaiah Zuber and Dalton Schoen added 73 and 61 receiving yards respectively.

Hasaan Klugh rushed for 33 yards for Charlotte, while Robert Washington added 28 yards. Hasaan Klugh threw for 33 yards for the 49ers, while receivers Uriah LeMay and R.J. Tyler had 25 and 11 yards respectively.

Kansas State outgained Charlotte 493-168 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-10 by the Wildcats.

Kansas State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:06-23:54 split in that important category.

Next game, Kansas State takes its act on the road to face Vanderbilt looking for another win. For Charlotte, they head home to face North Carolina A&T.
