New Mexico State Falls 42-24 to Razorbacks - Recap

Devwah Whaley tore up the turf for 119 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Razorbacks to a 42-24 win over the Aggies at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Arkansas did not, however, defeat the Aggies against the spread, which closed at -18.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 61.0.

Devwah Whaley rushed for 119 yards, while Chase Hayden added 48 yards in the win. Jordan Jones and Deon Stewart added 84 and 71 receiving yards respectively.

Larry Rose III rushed for 25 yards for New Mexico State, while Tyler Rogers added -14 yards. Tyler Rogers threw for 344 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Jaleel Scott and OJ Clark had 174 and 59 yards respectively.

Arkansas outgained New Mexico State 494-355 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-18 by the Razorbacks.

Arkansas led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 41:35-18:25 split in that important category.

Next game, Arkansas takes its act on the road to face South Carolina looking for another win. For New Mexico State, they head on the road to face Appalachian State.
