Oklahoma Sooners vs Kansas State Wildcats Wrap - Oklahoma Wins 42-35

Baker Mayfield threw for 410 yards to lead the Sooners over Kansas State 42-35 on Saturday in Week 8 action at Snyder Family Stadium.

Oklahoma won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -14.5-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 55.5.

Baker Mayfield completed 32 of 41 pass attempts for 410 yards for the Sooners in the win.

Alex Delton rushed for 142 yards for Kansas State, while Alex Barnes added 108 yards. Alex Delton threw for 144 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Byron Pringle and Dalton Schoen had 70 and 39 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma 619-412 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma had more first downs as that total ended up 28-18.

Oklahoma led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:49-27:11 split in that important category.

Next game, Oklahoma takes its act home to face Texas Tech looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head on the road to face Kansas.
