Wildcats vs Cyclones Final: 20-19 - Recap
The Cyclones came up short against the Wildcats in Week 13 action on Saturday, falling 20-19 at Snyder Family Stadium.
Kansas State did not, however, defeat the Cyclones against the spread, which closed at -2.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 50.0.
Dalvin Warmack rushed for 42 yards, while Justin Silmon added 32 yards in the win. Isaiah Zuber and Zach Reuter added 56 and 38 receiving yards respectively.
Sheldon Croney Jr. rushed for 63 yards for Iowa State, while Mike Warren added 17 yards. Kyle Kempt threw for 264 yards for the Cyclones, while receivers Allen Lazard and Deshaunte Jones had 95 and 43 yards respectively.
Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Iowa State 379-264 yards in Saturday's game. Iowa State had more first downs as that total ended up 18-12.
The time of possession battle favored Iowa State as their offense was on the field for 33:32, longer than the 26:28 of their opponents.
