USC Falls 15-14 to Golden Bears - Recap
The Trojans came up short against the Golden Bears in Week 11 action on Saturday, falling 15-14 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
California was the ATS victor, as they covered the +4.0-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 45.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Patrick Laird rushed for 71 yards, while Chase Garbers added 34 yards in the win. Vic Wharton and Patrick Laird added 34 and 18 receiving yards respectively.
Aca'Cedric Ware rushed for 103 yards for USC, while Vavae Malepeai added 47 yards. JT Daniels threw for 180 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Tyler Vaughns and Amon-Ra St. Brown had 91 and 53 yards respectively.
USC outgained California 277-207 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-11 by the Trojans.
USC led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:47-27:13 split in that important category.
California looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Stanford. USC will aim to get back on the winning track at UCLA.
