North Carolina Tar Heels vs Duke Blue Devils Recap - Blue Devils Win 42-35

Daniel Jones sliced and diced the Tar Heels defense for 361 yards as Duke handed North Carolina a 42-35 defeat on Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Duke did not, however, defeat the Tar Heels against the spread, which closed at -7.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 58.5.

Daniel Jones completed 31 of 54 pass attempts for 361 yards for the Blue Devils in the win.

Michael Carter rushed for 148 yards for North Carolina, while Dazz Newsome added 84 yards. Nathan Elliott threw for 221 yards for the Tar Heels, while receivers Dazz Newsome and Anthony Ratliff-Williams had 66 and 54 yards respectively.

Duke outgained North Carolina 629-536 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-25 by the Blue Devils.

The time of possession battle favored Duke as their offense was on the field for 31:14, longer than the 28:46 of their opponents.

Duke looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Clemson. North Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Western Carolina.
