Red Raiders Fall 21-6 Against Kansas State - Game Recap

Texas Tech was unable to contain Alex Barnes on Saturday and the result was a 21-6 Week 12 loss against the Wildcats.

The Wildcats were a +6.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 55.0.

Alex Barnes rushed for 136 yards, while Isaiah Zuber added 17 yards in the win. Malik Knowles and Zach Reuter added 56 and 48 receiving yards respectively.

Da'Leon Ward rushed for 34 yards for Texas Tech, while Tre King added 9 yards. Jett Duffey threw for 150 yards for the Red Raiders, while receivers T.J. Vasher and Antoine Wesley had 69 and 28 yards respectively.

Texas Tech lost the offensive yardage battle to Kansas State 367-181 yards in Saturday's game. Kansas State had more first downs as that total ended up 22-11.

The time of possession battle favored Kansas State as their offense was on the field for 37:49, longer than the 22:11 of their opponents.

Kansas State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Iowa State. Texas Tech will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Baylor.
