Fighting Irish vs Trojans Final: 24-17 - Recap
Ian Book led the way with 352 passing yards on Saturday as the Fighting Irish picked up a 24-17 victory over the Trojans at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Fighting Irish earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -14.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 54.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Ian Book completed 22 of 39 pass attempts for 352 yards for the Fighting Irish in the win.
Aca'Cedric Ware rushed for 68 yards for USC, while Markese Stepp added 23 yards. JT Daniels threw for 349 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Tyler Vaughns and Amon-Ra St. Brown had 120 and 94 yards respectively.
Notre Dame outgained USC 473-443 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-23 by the Trojans.
