Saints vs Packers Final: 38-3 - Recap
The Saints got a 5-TD performance from Jameis Winston as New Orleans handed Green Bay a 38-3 defeat on Sunday at TIAA Bank Field.
New Orleans won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 49.0.
Jameis Winston completed 14 of 20 pass attempts for 148 yards and 5 TDs for the Saints in the win.
AJ Dillon rushed for 19 yards for Green Bay, while Kylin Hill added 14 yards. Jordan Love threw for 68 yards for the Packers, while receivers Davante Adams and Randall Cobb had 56 and 32 yards respectively.
Green Bay lost the offensive yardage battle to New Orleans 322-229 yards in Sunday's game. New Orleans had more first downs as that total ended up 22-14.
Green Bay lost the time of possession battle 34:36-25:24, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, New Orleans takes its act on the road to face Carolina looking for another win. For Green Bay, they head home to face Detroit.
