Recap - Browns Defeat New York 17-13

The Giants came up short against the Browns in Pre-Season Week 2 action on Sunday, falling 17-13 at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Cleveland won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 35.0.

John Kelly rushed for 58 yards, while D'Ernest Johnson added 36 yards in the win. Davion Davis and Johnny Stanton added 45 and 33 receiving yards respectively.

Corey Clement rushed for 30 yards for New York, while Devontae Booker added 27 yards. Brian Lewerke threw for 108 yards for the Giants, while receivers Rysen John and David Sills had 58 and 31 yards respectively.

New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Cleveland 370-308 yards in Sunday's game. Cleveland had more first downs as that total ended up 24-18.

The time of possession battle favored Cleveland as their offense was on the field for 31:17, longer than the 28:43 of their opponents.

Cleveland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Falcons. The Giants will aim to get back on the winning track vs. New England.
