Los Angeles Falls 27-20 to Redskins - Recap

Los Angeles couldn't keep Chris Thompson out of the end zone on Sunday and it cost them a 27-20 loss in Week 2 action against the Redskins.

Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go PUSH the closing number of 47.0.

Rob Kelley rushed for 78 yards, while Chris Thompson added 77 yards in the win. Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder added 48 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Todd Gurley rushed for 88 yards for Los Angeles, while Tavon Austin added 3 yards. Jared Goff threw for 224 yards for the Rams, while receivers Gerald Everett and Todd Gurley had 95 and 48 yards respectively.

Los Angeles lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 385-332 yards in Sunday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 21-14.

Washington led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:19-23:41 split in that important category.

Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Raiders. The Rams will aim to get back on the winning track at San Francisco.
