Bills vs Lions Final: 14-13 - Recap
Robert Foster was good for 108 receiving yards on Sunday as the Bills grabbed a 14-13 win over the Lions at New Era Field.
The Bills won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -2.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Keith Ford rushed for 46 yards, while Marcus Murphy added 35 yards in the win. Robert Foster and Isaiah McKenzie added 108 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Theo Riddick rushed for 47 yards for Detroit, while Zach Zenner added 45 yards. Matthew Stafford threw for 208 yards for the Lions, while receivers Kenny Golladay and Levine Toilolo had 146 and 28 yards respectively.
Buffalo was outgained by Detroit 313-312 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-14 by the Bills.
Detroit lost the time of possession battle 31:06-28:54, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Buffalo takes its act on the road to face New England looking for another win. For Detroit, they head home to face Minnesota.
