Flames Fall 6-2 Against Vegas - Game Recap

The Flames came up short Saturday against the Golden Knights, falling 6-2.

Vegas was favored by -152 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 6.0.

Tomas Nosek, William Carrier, Paul Stastny, Mark Stone, Cody Glass, and Ryan Reaves each scored for the Golden Knights in the victory. Nosek opened the scoring for Vegas.

Johnny Gaudreau, and Rasmus Andersson scored for the Flames, finding the net behind Marc-Andre Fleury.

David Rittich stopped 24 of 30 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Vegas went 0-for-3, while the Flames were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Vegas lost the shots on goal battle to Calgary by a margin of 35-30.

Next game, Vegas takes its act on the road to face Los Angeles looking for another win. For Calgary, they head on the road to face San Jose.
