San Jose Ices Detroit 4-3 - Recap

San Jose needed a shootout to earn a 4-3 victory over Detroit on Saturday in NHL action at SAP Center at San Jose.

Detroit got a 16-stop effort from Jimmy Howard in the loss.

On the power play, San Jose went 1-for-3, while the Red Wings were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

San Jose lost the shots on goal battle to Detroit by a margin of 28-19.

Next game, San Jose takes its act home to face Edmonton looking for another win. For Detroit, they head home to face Ottawa.
