Ottawa Skates Past Detroit 4-3 - Recap

Anthony Duclair scored a pair of goals against the Red Wings as Ottawa handed Detroit a 4-3 defeat on Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena.

Anthony Duclair(2), Jean-Gabriel Pageau, and Brady Tkachuk each scored for the Senators in the victory. Duclair opened the scoring for Ottawa.

Detroit got goals from Robby Fabbri, Anthony Mantha, and Valtteri Filppula in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jonathan Bernier stopped 29 of 33 shots for the Red Wings, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Ottawa went 0-for-4, while the Red Wings were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Ottawa lost the shots on goal battle to Detroit by a margin of 38-33.

Ottawa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Canadiens. The Red Wings will aim to get back on the winning track at Columbus.
