Canucks vs Senators Final: 5-2 - Recap

Thatcher Demko made 40 stops Tuesday to lead the Canucks over the Senators 5-2 at Rogers Arena.

Vancouver won as a -158 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Oscar Fantenberg, Tanner Pearson, Antoine Roussel, Elias Pettersson, and Zack MacEwen each scored for the Canucks in the victory. Roussel opened the scoring for Vancouver.

Ottawa got goals from Jean-Gabriel Pageau, and Tyler Ennis in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Anders Nilsson stopped 11 of 15 shots for the Senators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Vancouver scored 1 times on 2 chances on the power play, while Ottawa went 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Vancouver lost the shots on goal battle to Ottawa by a margin of 42-29.

Next game, Vancouver takes its act home to face Buffalo looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head on the road to face Edmonton.
