Vancouver Skates Past Vegas 5-4 - Recap

Elias Pettersson was the difference, potting a pair for Vancouver on Thursday as the Canucks skated off with a 5-4 victory over the Golden Knights at Rogers Arena.

Elias Pettersson(2), Christopher Tanev, Tanner Pearson, and Antoine Roussel each scored for the Canucks in the victory. Roussel opened the scoring for Vancouver.

Jacob Markstrom stopped 39 of 43 Vegas shots in the victory.

Reilly Smith, Nick Holden, Jonathan Marchessault, and Mark Stone scored for the Golden Knights, finding the net behind Jacob Markstrom.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 29 of 34 shots for the Golden Knights, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Vancouver went 1-for-5, while the Golden Knights were 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Vegas outshot Vancouver 43-34 in the game.

Vancouver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Penguins. The Golden Knights will aim to get back on the winning track at San Jose.
