Toronto Ices Calgary 4-3 - Recap

Toronto skated to a 4-3 victory over Calgary on Tuesday in NHL action at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Toronto won as a -119 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Auston Matthews, Travis Boyd, Wayne Simmonds, and Mitchell Marner each scored for the Maple Leafs in the victory. Simmonds opened the scoring for Toronto.

Frederik Andersen turned in a 23-save effort for the Maple Leafs.

Calgary got goals from Johnny Gaudreau(2), and Milan Lucic in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jacob Markstrom stopped 17 of 21 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Toronto went 1-for-2, while the Flames were 1-for-4 with the man advantage.

Toronto lost the shots on goal battle to Calgary by a margin of 26-21.

Toronto looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Oilers. The Flames will aim to get back on the winning track at Montreal.
