San Jose Sharks vs Edmonton Oilers Wrap - Edmonton Wins 5-4

Mikko Koskinen stopped 40 of 44 shots fired at him by San Jose, as the Oilers skated to a 5-4 victory Thursday at Rogers Place.

The Oilers were a -320 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 6.5.

Edmonton got goals from Philip Broberg, Zach Hyman, Derek Ryan, Kailer Yamamoto, and Ryan McLeod in the victory. McLeod opened the scoring at 9:17 of the second period.

Mikko Koskinen turned in a 40-save effort for the Oilers.

Noah Gregor(2), Scott Reedy, and Nick Bonino scored for the Sharks, finding the net behind Mikko Koskinen.

San Jose got a 26-stop effort from James Reimer in the loss.

On the power play, Edmonton went 1-for-4, while the Sharks were 1-for-1 with the man advantage.

Edmonton lost the shots on goal battle to San Jose by a margin of 44-31.

Next game, Edmonton takes its act home to face Vancouver looking for another win. For San Jose, they head on the road to face Seattle.
