throw it down

Las Vegas - Kick it off down on Bourbon Street and take the Falcons +4 points over the Saints. The first thing you'll read about this game is, remember last season when New Orleans lost Drew Brees, and then went on a 5-0 tear. It's true, but that was with Teddy Bridgewater at QB. Now it's Taysom Hill. Nothing personal, but Taysom is NO Bridge! And if you look at the NFL passing stats, guess what??? Matty Ice and Atlanta are sitting in the number two slot, looking up at only one other team. Kaycee and the INCREDIBLE Patrick Mahomes. Gimme some ICE!

Now, c'mon out West and rock the Dolphins -3.5 points over the Broncos. My clock is still set on TUA TIME!!! And why not. Tagovailoa has been perfect since taking over the starting job from Ryan Fitzpatrick, winning & covering all three games. Miami has won five in a row, and six of the last seven, and it's the defense that's shining. They've allowed a total of 86 points during the winning streak, which works out to an average of 17 points per game. To make the pick even tastier, it looks like Denver QB Drew Lock ain't gonna get the start. Which is actually a shame since he threw FOUR INTs last week. Brett Rypien will probably step in. Yea, sure, you know the last name from his uncle Mark, and little Ryp won his only start. But, it was against the 0-9 Jets, so lets not get TOO excited. A win here for Tua would make him only the 2nd QB in the last 40 years to open his career at 4-0. The other one? I'll give you a minute. Okay, time's up. It was Ben Roethlisberger. The Fish have covered eight of the last nine in Denver, so there's only one thing left to say. This IS my BEST BET BAABBEEE!!!

You've been waiting patiently for a week, and it's TIME! Wish we could get Bruce Buffer, totally the better Buffer brother, to make the call. If you've never heard Bruce at the start of the UFC's main event matches, he's a FORCE of nature. And, when he rocks his signature catchphrase, IT'S T...I...M...E, if you don't start to tingle, you AIN'T breathing. And it's WAY better than his brother Michael's, Lets Get Ready to R...U...M...B...L...E! Listen to each guy and lemme know.

Okay, on to the TEASER THROWDOWN, and honors go to Mr. Vingt-et-un since he is hitting at 100%. Of course it's a small sample since we have only one week from my talented friend, but he still gets to tee off first. Monsieur V-E-U is kicking it with the Pittsburgh/Jacksonville game and dropping the Steelers from -10.5 to -.5 point over the Jags. Then he goes to Minnesota and drops the Vikings from -7 to +3 points against the Cowboys. Closing it out on Sunday night, looking at Kaycee and dropping the Chiefs from -7.5 to +3.5 points against the Raiders.

Looking to keep pace is the Other Silver Brother, who is hitting at 70%, and he's all over the Steelers/Jaguars game too. He is gonna take Pittsburgh down from -10.5 to -.5 point against Jacksonville, and also drop the total from 46 to 36 and play the Over. He will finish with the Miami/Denver total and drop it from 46 to 36 and play Over once again. May the best tease win!!!
