IUPUI Falls 112-80 to Butler - Recap
Butler cruised to victory on Saturday, running IUPUI out of the gym and running up a 112-80 score at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Butler got 17 points from Jalen Jackson and another 13 points from Azavier Robinson. Jalen Jackson contributed 3 assists, while Michael Ajayi cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
IUPUI got a 25-point performance from Matt Compas, who was supported by 12 points from Finley Woodward. Finley Woodward had 6 assists in a losing cause for IUPUI, while Reece Hagy grabbed 6 rebounds.
Butler was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Butler had a 55-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Butler takes its act home to face Chicago State looking for another win. For IUPUI, they head home to face IU Columbus.
