UFC Betting: Vera vs Sandhagen Odds Preview

The UFC heads down to Texas this weekend to set up shop at the AT&T Center in San Antonio for UFC on ESPN 43: Vera vs Sandhagen.

The main event this weekend is a bantamweight bout featuring Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen. At Bovada Sportsbook, Sandhagen is a -165 favorite and Vera a +140 underdog.

Sandhagen is 3-2 in his last five fights and owns an overall record of 15-4 with seven wins by knockout and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 210 in September when he defeated Song Yadong by fourth-round TKO as a -210 favorite.

Vera has won his last four fights to improve his record to 20-7-1 with eight wins by KO and eight by submission. He knocked out Dominick Cruz in the fourth round at UFC on ESPN 41 in August as a -235 favorite for his most recent victory.

Bantamweights Holm, Santos both coming off losses

Also on the main card this weekend is a women’s bantamweight bout between Holly Holm and Yana Santos. At Bovada, Holm is a -250 favorite and Santos a +200 underdog.

Holm is 3-3 in her last six fights and her record stands at 14-6 with eight wins by KO. She lost a split decision to Ketlen Vieira as a -250 favorite in her last fight at UFC Fight Night 206 in May.

Santos is 2-2 in her last four fights and owns an overall record of 14-6 and one no contest, with seven wins by KO. She is also coming off a loss, falling to Irene Aldana by first-round TKO as a -130 favorite at UFC 264 in July 2021.

Landwehr looking to hand Lingo his second defeat

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a featherweight bout featuring Nate Landwehr and Austin Lingo. At Bovada, Landwehr is a -210 favorite and Lingo a +170 underdog.

Landwehr has won three of his last four fights to bump his record up to 16-4 with eight wins by KO. He last fought in August at UFC on ESPN 41 where he got past David Onama by majority decision as a +265 underdog.

Lingo is 9-1 with three wins by KO and two by submission. He defeated Luis Saldana by unanimous decision as a +100 underdog in his last fight at UFC on ESPN 29 in August 2021.
