College Football Week 6 Betting Odds Preview

The Red River Rivalry returns this weekend, as the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners clash in their annual matchup.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Sooners are a slim 1.5-point favorite this year. There is no home-field advantage in this matchup as it will be played at a neutral site, the Cotton Bowl.

Oklahoma is coming off a 37-30 upset loss to the Iowa State Cyclones as a 7.5-point favorite. That dropped the Sooners to 1-4 against the spread in their last five and 2-8 ATS in their last 10.

Last season, Oklahoma defeated Texas 34-27 as a 10.5-point favorite. In their last eight vs the Longhorns, the Sooners are a lousy 1-7 ATS.

Tigers have covered 5 of last 6 against Hurricanes

The game of the week is an ACC battle of undefeated teams when the Clemson Tigers host the Miami Hurricanes as a 14-point favorite.

The Tigers may be 3-0 on the season but they’re 0-3 ATS. Last week they defeated the Virginia Cavaliers 41-23 but failed to cover as a 28-point favorite. At home, Clemson has won 23 straight with a 12-10-1 ATS record.

Miami is 3-0 SU and ATS on the season. Last time out, the Hurricanes crushed the Florida State Seminoles 52-10 as a 12-point favorite. In their last nine, the Hurricanes are 6-3 SU and ATS, and as an underdog they’ve won three straight ATS.

In their last six games against the Hurricanes, the Tigers are 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS.

Bulldogs, Volunteers have been solid UNDER plays

In the SEC this weekend, the Georgia Bulldogs host the Tennessee Volunteers as 14-point favorites.

Georgia is 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in its last 10 after getting past the Missouri Tigers 35-12 as a 10-point favorite last week. Tennessee has won eight straight at 5-2-1 ATS and is 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10. The Volunteers have been a strong UNDER play for totals bettors at 8-2 UNDER in their last 10.

Georgia defeated the Auburn Tigers 27-6 as a 7.5-point favorite last week. At home, Georgia is 19-1 SU in its last 20 but only 9-11 ATS. The Bulldogs have also been solid UNDER plays for totals bettors at 10-1 UNDER in their last 11.

Last season, Georgia defeated Tennessee 43-14 as a 24.5-point favorite. At home to the Volunteers, the Bulldogs are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11.
