College Football Week 7 Betting Odds Preview

An SEC matchup between two of the nation’s top teams highlights this weekend’s college football schedule as the Georgia Bulldogs visit the Alabama Crimson Tide.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Crimson Tide are 6-point favorites. Last week, Alabama defeated the Ole Miss Rebels 63-48 but failed to cover as a 24-point favorite. In their last 30 games at home, the Crimson Tide are 30-0 straight up and 17-13 against the spread.

Georgia got past the Tennessee Volunteers 44-21 as a 12-point favorite last week. The Bulldogs are 10-1 SU and 7-4 ATS in their last 11 games, but as an underdog they’re 3-8 SU and 6-4-1 ATS in their last 11.

Alabama has won five straight against Georgia with a 2-2-1 ATS record.

Florida, LSU both coming off upset losses

Staying in the SEC, two teams looking to rebound from upset losses clash this week when the Florida Gators host the LSU Tigers as a 13.5-point favorite.

Last week, the Gators were 6-point favorites in a 41-38 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies. That loss snapped a six-game winning streak during which they were 4-2 ATS. At home, Florida maintains an eight-game winning streak with a 5-2-1 ATS record.

LSU was a 14-point road favorite in a 45-41 loss to the Missouri Tigers last week. Following that loss, LSU is 5-1 SU and 4-1-1 ATS in its last six road games. As an underdog, LSU has been a strong bet at 7-2 ATS in its last nine games.

Last season, LSU defeated Florida 42-28 as a 14-point favorite. Florida is 3-0-1 ATS in its last four vs LSU, and the Gators are 5-2 ATS in their last seven at home vs the Tigers.

Yellow Jackets 2-5 ATS in last 7 at home

The No. 1-ranked Clemson Tigers face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this week as a 26.5-point road favorite. The Tigers improved to 4-0 SU on the season with a 42-17 win over Miami last week to post their first ATS victory of the season. On the road, the Tigers have won 12 straight at 8-4 ATS.

Georgia Tech is coming off a 46-27 upset win over the Louisville Cardinals as a 4.5-point underdog. The Yellow Jackets are a money-losing 2-5 SU and ATS in their last seven games at home.

Last season, Clemson crushed Georgia Tech 52-14 as a 36.5-point favorite. The Tigers are 7-1 SU and 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight vs the Yellow Jackets.

Miami favored over visiting Pittsburgh

Rounding out our college football preview is the Pittsburgh Panthers at the Miami Hurricanes as a 10.5-point underdog.

The Panthers are coming off a 31-30 loss to the Boston College Eagles as a 6.5-point favorite. Pittsburgh dropped to 1-3-1 ATS in its last five and as an underdog is 2-6 SU and 4-4 ATS in the last eight.

Miami got routed by Clemson 42-17 as a 14-point underdog last week. As a favorite, the Hurricanes have won and covered in three straight.

Last season, Miami edged Pittsburgh 16-12 as a 4.5-point underdog.
