CFB Conference Championships Odds Preview

It’s conference championship game weekend in college football, which will decide the matchups in the College Football Playoff and major bowl games.

The fun begins Friday night with the Pac-10 championship game featuring the Utah Utes and Oregon Ducks at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. At Bovada Sportsbook, Utah is a 3-point favorite.

This season, Utah was 9-3 straight up and 5-7 against the spread, while Oregon was 10-2 SU and 5-7 ATS. The Utes head into the matchup on a five-game winning streak and they’re 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight games when favored. On November 21, Utah defeated Oregon 38-7 as a 3-point favorite. In the last 12 matchups between these teams, Oregon is 8-4 SU and 6-6 ATS. Utah and Oregon previously met up in the championship game in 2019 when Oregon won 37-15 as a 6.5-point underdog.

Big 12 championship: Baylor vs Oklahoma State

On Saturday, the first game on the schedule is the Big 12 championship in which the Oklahoma State Cowboys are 5.5-point favorites vs the Baylor Bears. This game is being played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The Bulldogs were undefeated this season at 12-0 SU with an 8-4 ATS record. Overall, Georgia has won 16 straight while going 10-6 ATS. Alabama was 11-1 SU and 6-6 ATS this season. As an underdog, the Crimson Tide are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five.

In this matchup, Alabama has won six straight at 3-2-1 ATS.

ACC championship: Wake Forest vs Pittsburgh

In the ACC championship game, the Pittsburgh Panthers are 3-point favorites vs the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. This game will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

Pittsburgh was 10-2 SU and 9-3 ATS this season. On the road, the Panthers have won six straight both SU and ATS. Wake Forest was 10-2 SU and 6-6 ATS this season. As an underdog, the Demon Deacons are 2-7 SU and 4-5 ATS in their last nine games.

Big Ten championship: Iowa vs Michigan

Finally, in the Big Ten championship game, the Michigan Wolverines face the Iowa Hawkeyes as 10.5-point favorites. This game is being played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Michigan was 11-1 SU and 10-2 ATS this season. When favored, the Wolverines are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10. Iowa was 10-2 SU and 7-5 ATS this season. The Hawkeyes were a bad bet down the stretch at 2-5 ATS in their last seven games.
