College Football Week 11 Betting Preview

Still No. 1 in the AP rankings, the Alabama Crimson Tide are road favorites this weekend as they take on the No. 18 Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Crimson Tide are a 14-point favorite at Bovada Sportsbook and have a nine-game winning streak going straight up. However, they’re only 4-5 against the spread. As a road favorite, Alabama has won 12 straight at 7-4-1 ATS. The Bulldogs are 4-11 SU and 8-7 ATS in their last 15 as a home underdog, but they’ve won their last two as a home dog SU.

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are also road favorites this week, listed as 3-point chalk against the No. 10 Auburn Tigers. Georgia has won 10 straight at 7-3 ATS, and is 5-1 SU and ATS in its last six versus Auburn. The Tigers have won nine straight at home with a 5-2-2 record ATS, but in their last 11 as a home underdog they’re 3-8 SU and 5-5-1 ATS.

The No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish get a Top 10 matchup this weekend against the No. 7 Miami Hurricanes. The Irish are a 3.5-point road favorite and they’ve won seven in a row SU with a 6-1 ATS mark. Miami has a 13-game winning streak going at home, at 9-4 ATS, but the Hurricanes have lost their last three against Notre Dame both SU and ATS.

There’s another Top 10 matchup this weekend as the No. 8 TCU Horned Frogs visit the No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners as a 7-point underdog. TCU is 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS in its last nine. Oklahoma is tough at home with a 7-1 record SU and ATS in its last eight. This could be a strong UNDER play, as TCU has gone UNDER in five straight and eight of 10, while the UNDER is 5-2 in the last seven between the Frogs and Sooners.

In the Big Ten on Saturday, the No. 13 Michigan State Spartans will be looking for back-to-back upsets when they face the No. 11 Ohio State Buckeyes as a 14.5-point underdog. The Spartans shocked Penn State last week as a 10-point underdog, but on the road they’re a disappointing 2-5 SU and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. The Buckeyes are 11-1 SU in their last 12 at home, but only 5-7 ATS.

Finally, the No. 24 Iowa State Cyclones are 7-point home underdogs when they host the No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Cyclones are a money-making 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine as a home underdog. The Cowboys are 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight versus Iowa State, and as a road favorite they’ve won 14 in a row SU.
