College Football Week 4 Betting Odds Preview

Three ranked matchups highlight the college football schedule this weekend starting with an ACC matchup between the No. 5 Clemson Tigers and the No. 21 Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Tigers are 7.5-point road favorites. Clemson is coming off a 48-20 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs but failed to cover as a 33.5-point favorite. The Tigers have won nine straight with a 6-3 record against the spread. As a road favorite, they’re 17-2 SU and 12-7 ATS in their last 19.

Wake Forest is coming off a tight 37-36 win over the Liberty Flames as a 17-point favorite. At home, the Demon Deacons have been tough to beat lately with 11 straight wins and a 7-4 ATS record. They’ve also covered the spread in three straight as a home underdog.

Last season, Clemson defeated Wake Forest 48-27 as a 3.5-point favorite. That was Clemson’s 13th straight win over Wake Forest, during which the Tigers are 7-6 ATS.

Aggies favored to avenge last year’s loss to Arkansas

In the SEC this weekend, the No. 10 Arkansas Razorbacks visit the No. 23 Texas A&M Aggies as 2.5-point road underdogs.

Arkansas defeated the Missouri State Bears 38-27 as a 26-point favorite last week. Arkansas has won five straight at 4-1 ATS and is 8-1 SU and 5-3-1 ATS in its last nine. The Razorbacks haven’t been good on the road with a 1-7 SU record in their last eight, but they’re 5-2-1 ATS. In their last 18 road games, they’re 2-16 SU and 7-10-1 ATS.

Texas A&M got past the Miami Hurricanes 17-9 as a 6.5-point favorite last week. Texas A&M is 2-4 ATS in its last six overall, and when favored the Aggies are 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six.

Last season, Florida defeated Tennessee 38-14 as a 19-point favorite. In this matchup, Florida has won five straight at 3-2 ATS, and the Gators are 16-1 SU and 9-6-2 ATS in the last 17 games.
