College Football Week 6 Betting Odds Preview

A top-five matchup highlights the Week 6 college football schedule as the No. 4 Penn State Nittany Lions visit the No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes in a Big Ten battle.

Sooners, Longhorns renew rivalry in Dallas

Also on tap this weekend, the Red River Rivalry will be renewed when the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners face the No. 21 Texas Longhorns as a 3.5-point favorite. This is a neutral-site game being played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.

Oklahoma is 5-0 SU but only 1-4 ATS this season following last week’s 37-31 win over the Kansas State Wildcats as a 12.5-point favorite. When favored, the Sooners have won 13 straight with an 8-5 ATS record.

Last season, Oklahoma defeated Texas 53-45 as a 3-point favorite. Oklahoma is 5-1 SU and 2-4 ATS in its last six vs Texas and 2-7 ATS in their last nine.

No. 1 Tide big road favorite at Texas A&M

In the SEC this weekend, the No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide visit the Texas A&M Aggies as an 18-point road favorite.

Alabama improved to 5-0 SU and 3-2 ATS last week with a 42-21 win over the Ole Miss Rebels as a 15-point favorite. Alabama has won 19 straight at 13-6 ATS, and on the road the Tide are 13-1 SU and 8-6 ATS in their last 14.

Texas A&M has dropped two straight, both as the favorite, following last week’s 26-22 loss to the Mississippi State Bulldogs as a 7-point favorite. As a home underdog, the Bulldogs are 1-10 SU and 4-6-1 ATS in their last 11.

Last season, Alabama defeated Texas A&M 52-24 as an 18-point favorite. Overall, the Crimson Tide have won eight straight vs the Bulldogs at 5-3 ATS.
