Conference Championship Games Preview

It’s conference championship game weekend in college football and it begins Friday night with the Pac-12 Championship Game featuring the Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks.

This is a neutral site game being played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. At the Bovada Sportsbook the Ducks are 9.5-point favorites.

Oregon was 11-1 straight up and 9-2-1 against the spread this season. They’re 4-1 ATS in their last five games and have been a strong road wager lately at 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine away from home. When favored they’ve won 13 straight at 10-3 ATS.

Washington was undefeated this season at 12-0 SU with a 5-6-1 ATS record. They are a money-losing 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games, but as an underdog they’ve won their last three games both SU and ATS.

On October 14 the Huskies defeated the Ducks 36-33 as 3-point home favorites. In the last five games in this matchup the Ducks are 3-2 SU and 3-1-1 ATS.

Bulldogs favored over Crimson Tide in title game

On Saturday this year’s SEC Championship Game features the Georgia Bulldogs taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide as 6-point favorites. This is a neutral site game being played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Georgia is undefeated at 12-0 SU with a 4-7-1 ATS record. On the road they’ve won 15 straight at 9-6 ATS, and when favored they’ve won 29 straight at 14-14-1 ATS.

Alabama was 11-1 SU and 8-4 ATS this season. They’ve won 10 straight at 7-3 ATS, and as an underdog they’re 6-4 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in their last nine.

The Bulldogs and Crimson Tide last met in the National Championship Game in 2022, and Georgia won that game 33-18 as 3-point favorites. In three previous matchups between Georgia and Alabama in the SEC Championship Game Alabama is 3-0 SU and ATS.

Wolverines are heavy chalk facing the Hawkeyes

In this year’s Big Ten Championship Game the Michigan Wolverines face the Iowa Hawkeyes as 23-point favorites. This is a neutral site game being played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Michigan is undefeated at 12-0 SU with a 6-5-1 ATS record. The Wolverines are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games and on the road they’ve won 11 straight with a 9-2 ATS record.

Iowa was 10-2 SU and 6-5-1 ATS this season. As an underdog the Hawkeyes are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five games. They’ve been a strong UNDER play for totals bettors lately with seven straight UNDER results.

Last season Michigan defeated Iowa 27-14 as 10.5-point favorites. In the last six games in this matchup Michigan is 5-1 ATS.
