NBA Betting: Bucks Try To Beat The Heat

A busy Thursday in the NBA bubble includes a full slate of games, including a possible playoff preview in the Eastern Conference when the Miami Heat take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

Miami is 2-1 straight up and against the spread in three games since the NBA resumed play in the Disney World bubble. Last time out on Tuesday, Miami defeated the Boston Celtics 112-106 as a 5-point underdog at Bovada Sportsbook.

Milwaukee has struggled in its bubble games so far, going 1-2 SU and ATS, including back-to-back losses. On Tuesday, the Bucks fell to the Brooklyn Nets 119-116 as a 19-point favorite. In their last six games overall, they are 1-5 SU and ATS.

Miami was one team that Milwaukee has had trouble with this season. The Heat were 2-0 SU and ATS against the Bucks before the season was suspended. The last time they met up on March 2, Miami rolled to a 105-89 victory as a 5-point home underdog.

Suns, Pacers sport perfect records in bubble play

Also on tap Thursday is a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers, two teams that are undefeated in the bubble so far.

The Suns are 3-0 SU in bubble games with all three wins coming as the underdog. On Tuesday, they edged the Los Angeles Clippers 117-115 as 8.5-point underdogs. In their last six games, the Suns are 5-1 SU, all as the underdog.

The Pacers are also 3-0 SU and ATS in three bubble games. On Tuesday, they defeated the Orlando Magic 120-109 as a 1.5-point underdog. With that win they improved to 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games.

The Suns and Pacers met up in Phoenix in January and Indiana won 112-87 as a 1-point favorite. That was Indiana’s sixth straight win against Phoenix both SU and ATS.

Clippers try to bounce back vs Mavericks

Rounding out our Thursday night preview is the Los Angeles Clippers vs the Dallas Mavericks.

The Clippers are 1-2 SU and ATS in the bubble and are coming off a 117-115 loss to the Suns as 8.5-point favorites.

Dallas started its bubble schedule with back-to-back losses before getting past the Sacramento Kings 114-110 last time out. The Mavericks were 5.5-point favorites in that game, which dropped them to 0-3 ATS in the bubble and 1-5 ATS in their last six games.

The Clippers are 2-0 SU and ATS vs Dallas this season and 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five against the Mavs. They last faced off in January and the Clippers won 110-107 as a 2.5-point road underdog.
