NBA Betting: Raptors Face Difficult Road Test

The suddenly struggling Toronto Raptors have a tough back-to-back to start the week as they visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night, followed by a road game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

The Raptors have lost two in a row straight up and against the spread for the first time this season, and three of their last four overall, after falling to the Milwaukee Bucks 104-99 last time out as a 5-point favorite at Bovada Sportsbook. Toronto is 1-5 ATS in its last six games and for totals bettors has gone UNDER in five straight.

The Clippers headed into a Monday matchup with the Phoenix Suns also having lost their last two games SU and ATS. However, at home the Clippers are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10.

This is the first matchup this season between the Clippers and Raptors after Toronto took both meetings SU and ATS last season. At home vs Toronto the Clippers are 2-6 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight.

In back-to-back games this season, Toronto is 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS in the first half, while the Clippers are 3-1 SU and ATS in the second half of a back-to-back this season.

The Raptors and Warriors meet up Wednesday for the first time since Toronto edged Golden State 131-128 as a 9.5-point favorite on November 29. With that win Toronto snapped an eight-game losing streak against Golden State during which it was 4-3-1 ATS.

The Warriors face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday prior to the meeting with Toronto. Heading into Monday night the Warriors had won three straight SU and ATS, and at home they were 5-1 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six.

Bucks, Pacers spar in divisional battle

Also worth a look Wednesday night the Milwaukee Bucks visit the Indiana Pacers in a battle between the top two teams in the Central Division.

The Bucks face the Washington Wizards on Monday night coming off their upset win over the Raptors. Despite that win Milwaukee was 2-6 ATS in its last eight and on the road is 3-5 SU and ATS in the last eight games.

The Pacers hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, and headed into that one having won three straight at 2-1 ATS. At home Indiana is 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS in its last six.

The Pacers and Bucks clashed in Milwaukee on October 19 and the Bucks won 118-101 as a 4-point favorite. That snapped Indiana’s three-game winning streak SU and ATS vs Milwaukee, but at home the Pacers have won three in a row SU and ATS against the Bucks.
