NBA Betting: Sixers, Raptors Renew Hostilities

Atlantic Division contenders square off to get the week started Tuesday night when the Philadelphia 76ers play host to the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors head into Philadelphia coming off a 121-103 win over the Los Angeles Clippers as a 9.5-point favorite at Bovada Sportsbook, but they’re only 2-3 straight up and against the spread in their last five. Two of those losses came as the favorite.

On the road, Toronto has also been lackluster lately, at 1-3 SU and ATS in its last four. In the last 12 road games, Toronto is a money-losing 2-10 ATS.

The 76ers are 4-3 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven following a 115-108 loss to the Sacramento Kings as a 3-point favorite last time out. At home, Philadelphia is 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS in its last nine.

The Raptors and 76ers have met up three times already this season and Toronto has taken two of three both SU and ATS. The home team has won and covered in every game. Toronto has totally dominated this matchup with a 20-3 SU record and 16-7 ATS mark in its last 23 vs Philadelphia.

Spurs 7-2 ATS in last 9 on road

Looking ahead to Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors are in action at home against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Warriors continue to roll at 12-1 SU in their last 13, but they haven’t always been the best bet at 7-5-1 ATS. At home the Warriors are 4-1 SU and 2-2-1 ATS in their last five.

The Spurs have found their game lately with five straight wins. However, they’ve dropped three in a row ATS. On the road the Spurs have been a strong pick for bettors at 7-2 ATS in their last nine.

In the lone matchup this season between the Warriors and Spurs back in November, San Antonio defeated Golden State 104-92 as a 3-point home favorite. Despite that loss, Golden State is still 12-3 SU and 9-6 ATS in its last 15 vs the Spurs.

Kings have been UNDER machines

Also on tap Wednesday, the Houston Rockets visit the Sacramento Kings.

Houston is 4-2 SU in its last six but only 2-4 ATS. Even with James Harden scoring at will, the Rockets are only 2-7 ATS in their last nine, and on the road they’re 1-5 ATS in their last six.

The Kings are a solid 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four and they’ve been money for totals bettors taking the UNDER, at 11-1-1 UNDER in their last 13 games. At home Sacramento has won six in a row SU and seven straight ATS.

In November, Houston rolled over Sacramento 132-112 as a 12-point favorite. That’s been the norm in this matchup lately, as Houston is 15-2 SU and 11-6 ATS in its last 17 against the Kings.
