NBA Playoff Betting Preview: Saturday Games

Up 2-0 after dominating wins in the first two games of their series, the Golden State Warriors can all but lock it up with a win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night.

Even with Kevin Durant sidelined by a strained calf in Game 2 the Warriors easily rolled to a 110-81 victory as an 11.5-point favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook. Minus Durant the Warriors spread the ball around with five players scoring in double figures, led by Stephen Curry with 19 points.

With that win Golden State has won eight in a row straight up versus Portland, but they were only 4-4 against the spread in those contests. In their last 18 overall the Warriors are 17-1 SU and 12-4-2 ATS.

The Washington Wizards also carry a 2-0 series lead into Game 3 against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. The Wizards are 2-0 ATS in the series following a 109-101 win in Game 2 as a 5.5-point favorite.

Washington has won their last four ATS and against the Hawks they are on a five-game winning streak SU at 4-1 ATS. However, on the road the Wizards have had some trouble lately at 4-7 both SU and ATS in their last 11. Atlanta has won their last four home games, including two as the underdog.

The Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks clash in Game 4 of their series Saturday with the Bucks holding a 2-1 series lead. Milwaukee dominated Game 3, winning 104-77 as a 2-point home favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook.

With the win Milwaukee has won three straight ATS and five of their last six. The Raptors on the other hand have dropped their last four games ATS. Game 4 also goes in Milwaukee where the Bucks are a solid 9-2 SU and 7-4 ATS in their last 11.

The last game on tap Saturday is Game 4 between the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis delivered a much-needed upset win in Game 3, 105-94 as a 3-point home underdog. That snapped a four-game losing streak SU and ATS for the Grizzlies, but they’re still only 2-7 SU and 3-6 ATS in their last nine games.

The Spurs dropped to 3-5-1 ATS in their last nine games and in their last six games as a road favorite they’re a lame 2-4 SU and ATS. In their last nine games as a road favorite versus the Grizzlies San Antonio is 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS.
